Hey y’all, I am Kaela! I was raised in a small town called Ward, South Carolina and moved to a slightly bigger town called Beech Island, South Carolina (unfortunately there is no Beach and no Island). I graduated with my Bachelor of Arts in Speech-Language Pathology from Columbia College in 2018 and began working immediately after as an SLP-A. I began my career immediately after undergrad, working in Home Health, providing speech and language services for children birth-3 and 3-elementary school age. In 2021, I graduated from The University of South Carolina with my Master’s in Speech-Language Pathology. After completing my graduate degree, I went into the school district, where I worked for three years serving a diverse range of middle school aged children. During my time in the school district I was also a High school Track and Field Throws coach where I enjoyed spending my time coaching young men and women on and off the field to be the best they can be. Go Gators!
In my free time, I enjoy watching movies, taking a lot of naps, watching and coaching sports, as well as tasting new foods. I truly look forward to working with all of your kids and getting to know them! Kids are genuinely my heart and my passion and I couldn’t have picked a better field!
