Katherine Iversen, M.S., CCC-SLP

Lead/Speech Language Pathologist/Charter Schools Coordinator

I have lived all over the United States from California to Massachusetts. I have recently moved back to the Columbia area but have been in South Carolina for the past few years. I earned my Masters of Sciences in Communication Disorders from University of Texas at Dallas and my Bachelors of Science in Psychology from Anderson University in South Carolina.

In Australia, I interned at a behavioral clinic and received training as a “line therapist” (working in the home directly with children) and also worked in verbal behavioral therapy in graduate school. I have worked in the school system in Anderson County the last few years and have experience with language disorders, articulation, phonological awareness, and Autism. I am happily married to the love of my life, my husband Austin. I love seeing how speech-language therapy impacts children’s everyday routines and behaviors and am excited to make a practical difference in families’ lives.
